1. Introduction
StreetSync (hereinafter referred to as "the Application" or "we") values your privacy. This privacy policy explains how we handle your personal information and our commitment to protecting your privacy.
2. Data Collection
StreetSync is an application focused on privacy protection. We promise:
- No personal information collection: We do not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information.
- No tracking technologies: We do not use cookies, analytics tools, or any tracking technologies for personal identification.
- No third-party data sharing: We never share your personal data with third parties.
3. Local Data Storage
All data is stored locally on your device, including:
- Camera connection information (camera model, serial number, custom name)
- Photo and video thumbnail cache
- Application settings (language preferences, etc.)
- Downloaded photo markers
This data is only stored on your iOS device and is not uploaded to any cloud servers or third-party services.
3.5 Subscription and Payment Information
When you purchase StreetSync Pro subscription:
- Payment Processing: All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect, access, or store your payment information (credit card, billing address, etc.).
- Subscription Management: Your subscription status is managed by RevenueCat (a third-party subscription infrastructure provider) and Apple's StoreKit framework. Your subscription data is stored locally on your device and synchronized with RevenueCat's servers for subscription validation purposes only.
- Purchase History: Your purchase history is available through your Apple ID account and is not directly accessible to us.
- RevenueCat Privacy: RevenueCat processes subscription data in accordance with their Privacy Policy. RevenueCat may collect minimal data such as anonymous user IDs and subscription status for providing subscription services.
We comply with Apple's In-App Purchase guidelines and do not access your financial information.
3.6 Analytics Data (Firebase Analytics)
StreetSync uses Firebase Analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase) to understand app usage patterns and improve user experience. This is the only analytics tool we use.
What data is collected:
- App usage events: Such as device connections, photo downloads, remote shooting actions, language changes, cache clearing, subscription events (purchase attempts, completions, cancellations, etc.)
- Screen views: Automatically tracked screen navigation within the app
- Device information: Anonymous device model, operating system version, app version, and region/language settings
- Anonymous User ID: A randomly generated identifier that cannot be linked to your real identity
What data is NOT collected:
- No personally identifiable information (name, email, phone number, etc.)
- No photo or video content
- No camera connection credentials
- No location data beyond general region (country/region level)
How the data is used:
- To understand which features are most popular
- To identify and fix bugs or crashes
- To improve app performance and user experience
- To measure subscription conversion and retention rates
Data retention:
Analytics data is stored on Google's servers and is subject to Google's Firebase Privacy Policy. Data is automatically deleted after 14 months (Google's default retention period).
Your control:
- Currently, there is no in-app option to disable analytics
- All analytics data is anonymous and cannot be traced back to you
- If you wish to limit data collection, you can use iOS's "Limit Ad Tracking" feature (Settings > Privacy > Tracking), though this may not fully disable Firebase Analytics

4. Permission Usage
StreetSync requires the following permissions to provide full functionality:
Photo Library Access
Used to save photos downloaded from the camera to your photo library. We do not read or upload other photos in your library.
Bluetooth Permission
Used to connect to Ricoh GR cameras via Bluetooth for remote shooting functionality.
WiFi Network Permission
Used to connect to cameras via WiFi to browse and download photos.
Location Permission
iOS requirement: Location permission is required to read WiFi SSID (network name). We do not collect, store, or use your location information; this permission is only used to identify the camera's WiFi network.
5. Data Security
We take the following measures to protect your data security:
- All data is stored only locally on your device, protected by iOS system security
- Camera connections use standard WiFi and Bluetooth encryption protocols
- No network connections are established to our servers or third-party services (except for anonymous analytics and subscription validation)
- You can clear all cached data in the application at any time
6. Third-Party Sharing
We will never share, sell, or transfer any of your personal information to third parties. StreetSync operates with minimal third-party dependencies, limited only to:
- Firebase Analytics: Anonymous usage statistics (see Section 3.6)
- RevenueCat: Subscription validation only (see Section 3.5)
- Apple StoreKit: Payment processing managed entirely by Apple
7. Children's Privacy
StreetSync does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. In fact, we do not collect personal information from users of any age.
8. Data Deletion
You can delete all application data at any time through:
- Using the "Clear All Cache" function in the application's Settings page
- Deleting individual camera devices and all associated data
- Completely removing the StreetSync application from your iOS device
9. Policy Changes
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page and the "Last Updated" date will be updated. We recommend that you review this policy periodically to stay informed of any changes.

11. Third-Party Services
StreetSync integrates the following third-party services:
11.1 RevenueCat (Subscription Infrastructure)
- Purpose: Manage in-app subscriptions and validate subscription status
- Data Collected: Anonymous user ID, subscription status, purchase timestamps

Important: We do not share your personal data with these services. All data processed by third parties is either: 1. Anonymous and cannot identify you (Firebase Analytics), or 2. Handled entirely by Apple's payment system (StoreKit), or 3. Limited to subscription validation purposes only (RevenueCat)
12. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:
- Access: Request access to any personal data we hold (we hold none)
- Deletion: Request deletion of all application data stored on your device (available in app settings)
- Portability: Export your camera device list and settings (available through local backup)
- Correction: Update or correct any stored information (available in app settings)
- Withdrawal of Consent: Revoke permissions at any time through iOS Settings
Since StreetSync does not collect personal data, most data protection rights are not applicable. However, you have full control over all locally stored data.
